The fearsome coast of South Africa delivers a real challenge as we attempt to sail round Africa’s southernmost tip and back into the Atlantic Ocean. The Cape of Good Hope is also known as the CAPE of STORMS and it lived up to that name, giving us big waves and gale force winds. Blasting along under storm jib alone we were in awe as we passed this major milestone on our voyage around the world and sailed into one of the most spectacular destinations we have visited.
