New Video: Anchored beneath the eerie glow of a volcano, we make friends with the locals and Matt is taken by dugout canoe for a Kava drinking session. This is the record of one of the most amazing experiences we have had on our circumnavigation so far, the warmth and friendliness of the people on Tanna blew us away. That was all topped off by standing on the rim of an active volcano as it spewed molten rock into the sky in front of us.

Hi, no unfortunately we never made it to Tuvalu as it was a long way off our route. Maybe on our second lap…

Tuvalu is a long way from the usual tradewind path across the south Pacific so we sadly did not get to visit there. We would really have needed an extra season to get up there.
